Introduction
Some people wish to organize an opportunity, to let the responsible people in Brussels know, what kind of concerns we are carrying inside of our heads, as European Parliament and Commission go on with directives on telecommunication data retention and passenger data retention.
Status
We have this idea. Up to now it is not more than that ...
What?
We would like to offer something more than only have a from-the-heart-coming protest march around Brussels-highscrapers.
If anyhow possible we are looking for combining the protest-day with a kind of discussion- or lobby-day with politicians and bureaucrats responsible for the rules and directives, we're complaining on.
That should give us a chance to change thoughts and concerns in direct communication. And it could open minds and horizons about what happens in Brussels at all.
Let's see if that will work ...
When?
First thoughts of combining this with the demonstration in Berlin on September 10 had been dropped because we don't like to compete against that and some people liked to join both dates.
Therefore we chose the weekend afterwards around September 17 (Saturday).
